  1. I loved the two cover versions Billy Mackenzie did on that BEF album....'Arabia' is more than decent, but his take on Roy Orbison's 'It's Over' is magnificent. Talk about throwing the kitchen sink at something in terms of production and vocals....

    1. It was also the first time I'd heard It's Over. Much as I love Roy Orbison, Billy sealed the definitive version in my teenage mind.
