When things in the world seem so uncertain, you can at least rely on Johnny Marr.
Spin heralds the arrival of The Age Of Everything, Johnny's first studio album since Fever Dreams Pts. 1-4 in 2022.
Whilst I don't expect the ground breaking, envelope-pushing sonics of the years with his former band, this is reliable, quality music with Marr seeming increasingly comfortable with the sound of his own voice as his solo career has progressed.
I feel like I'm damning the song with faint praise, it's a good not great song, but it's a welcome return nevertheless. Sometimes, certainty is all that's needed.
