If The Sun Refused To Shine, I Would Still Be Loving You

I'd express this in a much different way and definitely not in song, but this was an apt pop up in my playlist shuffle and I'm 100% with Robert Plant on the sentiment.

Thank You originally appeared on Led Zeppelin II in 1969. I couldn't find any decent live recordings of Zep themselves on YouTube, so here are the songwriters Jimmy Page and Robert Plant performing at Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre in California on 3rd October 1995.

Whilst not a fan of Led Zeppelin or Messrs. Page and Plant in the slightest, nevertheless this one's for Mrs. K.

If the sun refused to shineI would still be loving youWhen mountains crumble to the seaThere will still be you and me

Kind a woman, I give you my allKind a woman, nothing moreLittle drops of rain, whisper of the painTears of love's lost in the days gone by

My love is strong, with you there is no wrongTogether we shall go until we die, my, my, myInspiration's what you are to meInspiration, look 'n' see

And so, today my world it smilesYour hand in mine, we walk the milesThanks to you, it will be doneFor you to me are the only oneAlright, yeah

Happiness, no more be sadHappiness, I'm glad

If the sun refused to shineI would still be loving youMountains crumble to the sea
There will still be you and me
