Supernatural? Perhaps. Baloney? Perhaps Not.

In 2000, NME gave away a London Xpress CD featuring a trio of mixes from DJs at the top of their game. DJ Harvey provides today's selection, the second on the CD and the second to feature on this blog.

The twenty-two minute trip starts in relaxed fashion before opening the door and heading out into town, a Cerrone sample keeping time with a purposeful strut to the bar playing Balearic beats and acoustic strums before a nip next door for some Samba and Sambuca.

It may come as a shock at the end to realise that, rather than a Sunday night in July, it's Tuesday morning in January but hopefully that little ray of sun will continue to shine through your day.

1) Ralome: Plaid (1999)
2) Luv And Happiness: Addvibe (2000)
3) Morfe: Forme (1999)
4) Tell Me: ADNY (2000)
5)
Salsin': Amalgamation Of Soundz (1999)

London Xpress: Harvey (22:06) (KF) (Mega)

Last February, I posted the third London Xpress mix by David Holmes, which is equally brilliant.

    1. I play the other two mixes fairly often, but it's been a while since Harvey's mix was aired. I'd forgotten how good it was.
