Bad Santa VI

You begged, you pleaded, you demanded, you litigated...and I ignored all of that and did it anyway.

It's back...and it's bad...really bad...and that's just my slipshod sequencing and editing!

Yep, it's the sixth instalment of Bad Santa, in case you have just under an hour's gap in your festive playlist. It's the usual curate's egg of the brilliant (Du Blonde aka Beth Jeans Houghton, Hifi Sean & David McAlmont, Saint Etienne with Tim Burgess, Belle & Sebastian) and the not-so-brilliant (I'm looking at you, R.E.M.) but all delivered with love and best wishes for the weekend. I hope it's a good one, wherever you are and whatever you're doing.

Bad Santa VI (56:55) (KF) (Mega)

And, if you are a glutton for punishment, here are the previous Bad Santa selections from 2022, 2021, 2020, 2017 and 2016.

You can continue to 'enjoy' daily doses of Dubhed over the next week, but I won't always be 'in' to check and respond to comments ("no change there then", I heard someone say).

  1. Blimey. That's Boxing Day afternoon sorted.

Number 5 features over at mine as well today but in a more humble setting - a stable compared to your in perhaps.

Thanks for all the music this year, hope all at Casa K have a great Xmas.

    1. Thanks, Ernie. I was working up til yesterday, so it all feels like a mad dash to get everything in place for Christmas Day. Mrs K and Lady K seem to be of the opinion that the Bad Santa playlists are a hindrance, not a help. I have no idea what they're talking about....

Thanks to you also for another wonderful year of 27 Leggies, not least the chance to travel around the African continent to a top notch soundtrack. Wishing you a very happy Christmas!

    1. Merry Christmas, CC. I've been sadly remiss in commenting these past few months but I have enjoyed your posts on a daily basis, especially the Saturday Shuffle - thank you!

    1. Many thanks, C, I hope that tipsy game of Scrabble didn't descend into chaos yesterday! We skipped the games yesterday but a staple charity shop find of previous years was

The downside was that it would take hours to complete sober, let alone tipsy! Sherpas got a very raw deal too, always letting the side down. Tensing would have been spinning in his grave!
